Xinyu Ding is an illustrator and painter born in Jinhua, Zhejiang, China, and now a Toronto-based freelance tattoo artist and illustrator. She graduated from OCAD University with a BDES Illustration Practice major in 2019. Her work Customized Room won 3x3 Illustration Annual No.16 Merit. She was honoured to be invited as the guest of Ripple Foundation to attend The Word On The Street 2019.

Xinyu started her tattoo career in 2020, her work theme is mainly inspired by Asian traditional ornament and Japanese Ukiyoe prints. She is also in love with botanical paintings and science illustrations, which potentially form her interpretation of lines and shades.
